Razael grew up like any other male Viera. Strict adherence to the Word of the Wood, defending the forest he called home and returning there on schedule to reunite with his people. However over time this routine grew tiresome and Razael began to question if his purpose truly lay in this monotonous back and forth.He heard a passing merchant make mention of an adventurer's guild in an Eorzean city-state called Gridania. The thought alone intrigued him and thus at the cost of permanent expulsion from the forest he found ways of making gil and made his way to Eorzea to see if his purpose lay to the west.Upon arriving in Gridania--mere moments after establishing himself at the adventurer's guild--a bespectacled auri handed him a frog and invited him to join a free company called "Retaliate" with whom he remains to this day alongside his adopted sister Renata and best friends Adryline, Apollyon, Lyrica, Bells (happy now you dork?), and Hisaki (by proxy)--the former of whom is his "wife". She will promptly murder him upon reading this.

Razael--or Raz as his friends call him--calls himself the "prettiest bunny in Eorzea", though this is mostly tongue-in-cheek. While he does pay a great deal of attention to emphasizing his feminine qualities and seeks to look his best at the end of the day his priority is expressing himself as far as he can.Though loyal to a fault and protective of those he cares for, Razael is nothing if not a giant goofball. Either sending his friends into stitches or making them wildly uncomfortable, he can often be found in the aetheryte plaza of Gridania clad in a bikini and a foam chocobo head dancing like a fool or something else equally ridiculous for the sake of making others laugh.Razael also performs as a DJ at various venues across Eorzea, primarily at the Wicked Violet, where he works as the event coordinator.
